Για άλλη μια φορά τα MTV Movie Awards έρχονται για να αναδείξουν τους καλύτερους ηθοποιούς, σκηνοθέτες και ταινίες της χρονιάς, καθώς και κάποιες από τις πιο χαρακτηριστικές σκηνές των ταινιών, κρατώντας ήδη σε μεγάλη αγωνία τους συμμετέχοντες, αφού είναι μια πολύ σημαντική απονομή για αυτούς.
Φέτος το event θα λάβει χώρα την Κυριακή 3 Ιουνίου στο Αμφιθέατρο Γκίμπσον, στο Los Angeles της California, με οικοδεσπότη και παρουσιαστή έναν παλιό γνώριμο των MTV Awards, που επιστρέφει επιτέλους στο στοιχείο του, τον Russell Brand.
Η βραδιά αναμένεται να είναι ιδιαίτερα ανατρεπτική, καθώς έχουν προστεθεί και δύο νέες κατηγορίες στις ήδη υπάρχουσες, η κατηγορία “Best Gut-Wrenching Performance” και “Best Dirtbag”.
